New year, New you, right!?...
Dependant on which 'New Year' you are drawn to or may have bought into. 🗓️
These are the ones I know of, there may be others.
✨ The 12 month calendar year - 1st January
✨ The 13 Lunar cycles - 17th February
✨ The Chinese year - Year of the fire horse - 17th February
✨ Natures seasons - First day of Spring - 20th March (U.K)
✨ Your birthday - Your birth date
For me I have a winter as part of my 28 day cycle. Nature has 4 seasons with one being a winter it suggests it’s a time for resting, stillness and maybe some reflection! Either way it’s easy for busy lifestyles to not make way for time for your very own cycles and seasons; menstrual, hormonal, projects and any challenges or life struggles along the way.

In a world where we are told what to think, follow and do, it can be all quite consuming and overwhelming. Often leaving us with little space for what nourishes and supports us never mind clearing what’s built up whilst we are moving from one thing to the next.
Some of the things that may overwhelm you and prevent you from doing what you want to;
Clutter.
To-do lists.
Over booking.
Over planning.
Too much choice.
Not having someone to do it with.
Not having someone to support you.
Whichever ‘New Year’ you choose let it be one that supports 'You' to be more balanced, so you can be and do more of what you already are. What if that's what will support more of what you want? Rather trying to become 'A new you!'
Slow down.
Remember what matters.
Simplify.
Make space so you can see what’s already there and what’s coming.
✨ Top 3 things that will support 'Your Year' being what you want it to be!
Nature - Be with what is natural - It literally regulates your nervous system.
Environment - Home, Work, Social; You become your surroundings.
Balance - Giving & Receiving; You can only put out what you put in.
✨ Practical ways to integrate these 3 things to support you...
Nature;
Make time to make a drink and sit in your garden, walk through a park or natural area as you are going somewhere, park your car a little further from your destination to get time outside, arrange to meet someone for a walk.
Pause and observe something in nature - a bird, a flower, an insect or other people.
Be curious.
Environment;
Open your windows on that sunny crisp morning.
Clear that drawer/cupboard/room/shed/garage.
Sort through that pile of paper work/letters.
Dispose any old to do lists or journal notes.
Unsubscribe from the emails that you do not open or read.
Deleted your deleted emails.
Unfollow things and people that no longer align with you.
Take that bag of clothes to the charity shop.
Do not go to bed on an argument.
Balance;
Balance your 'do'ing with 'be'ing.
For every thing you do for someone else, do something for yourself.
Stop un-apoplectically and read a chapter of a book, have a brew, listen to some music.
Do something creative or fun that has no outcome other than enjoying it for what it is in that moment.
